Manufacturing Process Engineer

The Manufacturing Process Engineer role focuses on planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing processes while providing technical support and maintaining manufacturing methods throughout the product lifecycle.

• Understand manufacturing and test equipment concepts, technologies, and techniques.
• Design manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters.
• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
• Define equipment maintenance requirements and identify root causes of equipment failures.
• Analyze and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
• Coordinate with customers to determine product specifications and design changes.
• Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.

• 13+ years of experience in SMT and PCBA manufacturing.
• Strong experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) for PCBA.
• Robust acumen in New Production Introduction and process development.
• Extensive knowledge of SMT processes and equipment.
• Experience with DOE methodology and statistical tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor other engineers.
• Capability to interact with all levels of the organization.
