Responsibilities
- Create and commission industrial control systems, including PLC software and HMI screens.
- Develop and install PLC/HMI code, debug on-site, and commission complete systems.
- Program peripheral devices and coordinate machine debugging and validation with teams.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications using standard techniques.
- Travel to customer sites for system installation and startup.
- Utilize Rockwell Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC programming for development tasks.
- Write code/ladder logic from scratch and integrate with automotive manufacturing processes.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Controls Engineering and PLC/HMI programming.
- Proficient in Rockwell Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC programming.
- Strong background in motion control programming and commissioning.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and programming languages like Python and C#.
- Experience with AutoCAD and hardware design is a plus.
- AS or BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work with various field bus networks.
