Responsibilities
- Create and commission industrial control systems, including PLC software and HMI screens.
- Develop and install PLC/HMI code, debugging on-site and commissioning complete systems.
- Program peripheral devices and coordinate machine debugging, power-up, and validation with teams.
- Ensure systems meet customer and build specifications using standard techniques.
- Travel to customer sites for system installation and startup.
- Utilize motion control programming and work with various PLC platforms.
- Document and program within customer-defined standards and templates.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Controls Engineering and PLC/HMI programming.
- Proficient with Rockwell Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC programming.
- Experience in motion control programming and commissioning.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and programming languages like Python and C#.
- Experience with hardware design tools such as AutoCAD is a plus.
- AS or BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in automotive manufacturing integration is beneficial.
