Responsibilities
- Serve as Responsible Engineer for in-space propulsion hardware including engines, valves, and tanks.
- Develop innovative design concepts for propulsion integration that enhance reliability and reduce complexity.
- Assist in developing manufacturing, integration, and testing processes.
- Act as the primary contact for spacecraft fluid systems design and operations.
- Perform flight operations for fluids and propulsion systems.
- Own and execute development, qualification, and acceptance testing of flight hardware.
- Identify system risks and conduct trade studies for successful vehicle operation.
Job Requirements
- BS in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong fundamentals in fluids, thermodynamics, and mechanics.
- Experience in Siemens NX or equivalent CAD program.
- Comprehension of design fundamentals including tolerancing and ASME Standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-discipline team.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in related engineering discipline (desired).
- Experience with storable liquid propulsion systems (desired).
