Responsibilities

  • Serve as Responsible Engineer for in-space propulsion hardware including engines, valves, and tanks.
  • Develop innovative design concepts for propulsion integration that enhance reliability and reduce complexity.
  • Assist in developing manufacturing, integration, and testing processes.
  • Act as the primary contact for spacecraft fluid systems design and operations.
  • Perform flight operations for fluids and propulsion systems.
  • Own and execute development, qualification, and acceptance testing of flight hardware.
  • Identify system risks and conduct trade studies for successful vehicle operation.

Job Requirements

  • BS in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong fundamentals in fluids, thermodynamics, and mechanics.
  • Experience in Siemens NX or equivalent CAD program.
  • Comprehension of design fundamentals including tolerancing and ASME Standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-discipline team.
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in related engineering discipline (desired).
  • Experience with storable liquid propulsion systems (desired).
