Responsibilities
- Serve as Responsible Engineer for in-space propulsion hardware including engines and valves.
- Develop innovative design concepts for propulsion integration and operations.
- Assist in the development of manufacturing, integration, and test processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for spacecraft fluid systems.
- Perform flight operations for fluids and propulsion systems.
- Own and execute development, qualification, and acceptance testing of flight hardware.
- Identify system risks and conduct trade studies for successful vehicle operation.
Job Requirements
- BS in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong fundamentals in fluids, thermodynamics, and mechanics.
- Experience in Siemens NX or equivalent CAD program.
- Comprehension of design fundamentals and ASME Standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-discipline team.
- Master’s Degree in a related discipline is desired.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in related engineering discipline.
