Responsibilities
- Define vehicle-level architecture, capabilities, specifications, and optimization.
- Conduct and lead system-level trades to drive innovation in vehicle design.
- Analyze and optimize mass, delta V, power, and data budgets.
- Chair vehicle-level design and milestone reviews.
- Develop innovative solutions integrating modern technologies.
- Manage program risks and facilitate cross-department communication.
- Provide real-time support during mission operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace engineering.
- Strong understanding of orbital mechanics.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.
- Master's or PhD degree and 8+ years of experience preferred.
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and industry standards.
