Responsibilities
- Define vehicle-level architecture and capabilities in alignment with Firefly objectives.
- Conduct system-level trades and evaluate configuration requirements to drive innovation in vehicle design.
- Analyze and optimize mass, delta V, power, and data budgets for technical feasibility.
- Chair vehicle-level design and milestone reviews to uphold standards.
- Develop innovative solutions for vehicle design and operations.
- Own the technical risk posture for assigned programs and missions.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and program partners.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in launch vehicle and/or spacecraft systems.
- Strong understanding of orbital mechanics and engineering fundamentals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility regarding workflow and process.
- Strong organizational skills and teamwork.
- Desired: Master's or PhD degree and 8+ years of aerospace engineering experience.
