Responsibilities
- Design parts in 3D CAD that meet load conditions and durability requirements.
- Build and test prototypes to validate mechanical concepts and performance.
- Generate accurate 2D drawings using GD&T to ensure tight tolerances.
- Design and build test stands; support mechanical engineering and systems integration teams.
- Inspect first articles, track part quality, and support parts on robot development platforms.
- Support electromechanical integration, including sensors and motors.
Job Requirements
- Must submit a portfolio or website of relevant projects.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field, with at least two years completed.
- Experience using 3D CAD software for designing complex parts.
- Experience in designing, building, and testing mechanical prototypes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with hardware projects.
- Ability to write and maintain clean documentation.
- Passion for robotics and hardware development.
