Responsibilities
- Design and draft mechanical or electrical assemblies.
- Create engineering drawings and layouts consistent with quality standards.
- Optimize design factors such as functionality and cost.
- Identify and integrate commercially available industrial components.
- Utilize CAD and engineering software tools for design and review.
- Coordinate design development with engineering staff and other departments.
- Follow standard engineering practices and procedures.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (M.S. preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in a related industry, preferably semiconductor.
- Minimum 2 years of experience using Solidworks and PDM/PLM.
- Knowledge of AMSE Y14.5M, GD & T.
- Good organization and communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others and follow instructions.
- Routine exercise of judgment in technical decision-making.
