Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain FANUC Robots and controllers, electrical control devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Discuss, diagnose, document, and repair robot operational and process problems.
- Provide daily reports to the Service Supervisor to update status and availability.
- Complete and provide a Field Service report for each assignment to the customer and FANUC Headquarters.
- Coordinate responsibilities, activities, and schedule with Service Supervisor/Manager.
- Communicate frequently with involved FAC employees and customer employees.
- Provide telephone-based troubleshooting support to customer employees.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Associate's degree in a related technical field, or equivalent technical education, or relevant experience preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in robotics, automation, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic prints.
- Knowledge of FANUC robots, controllers, and peripheral equipment preferred.
- Experience with FANUC application software and programming preferred.
