Responsibilities
- Work with the team on technology development projects through creation of functional prototypes and test methods.
- Design product components and systems for consumer electronics.
- Contribute to the creation of technical specifications and product definitions.
- Help design electromechanical systems for device testing and validation.
- Develop and implement test methods for design validation.
- Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team including Electrical, Firmware/Software, Audio, Optical, Reliability, and Manufacturing Engineers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience designing and shipping components or systems for consumer electronics.
- Strong engineering fundamentals, including material science relevant to consumer electronics.
- Experience with production drawings to GD&T standards and tolerance analysis.
- Familiarity with various manufacturing technologies for production and prototyping.
- Proficient in Siemens NX and/or SolidWorks.
- Data analysis and visualization experience (e.g., MATLAB, Python).
