Responsibilities
- Review and approve plan layouts, including new designs and modifications of existing designs.
- Review and approve product prototypes and theoretical models.
- Write detailed functional specifications and design flow/tradeoffs.
- Support new technology introduction.
- Act as a subject matter expert for engineering staff regarding hardware and software interface.
- Provide training and support to system designers and users.
- Design and develop hardware and support peripherals, including SoC and custom integrated circuits.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
- Good EE fundamentals and high-density Rigid/flex board design experience.
- Hands-on lab skills and a can-do attitude for rapid prototyping.
- Ability to drive projects with high ambiguity and multiple paths.
- Understanding of core tech areas such as SoC, sensor, wireless, and interfaces.
- Basic embedded software knowledge and comfort with software logs/code.
- Experience using automation to improve project quality.
