Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day run plan support and troubleshooting in collaboration with Operations and Supply Chain.
- Offer off-hours support for abnormal and non-routine operations, including unit outages and turnarounds.
- Provide unit optimization guidance in collaboration with Technical Center analysis.
- Participate in Quality investigations in response to customer feedback and off-spec events.
- Lead and participate in incident investigations, identifying and completing follow-up actions.
- Participate in outages and turnarounds, providing technical guidance and recommendations.
- Initiate and develop low complexity projects while participating in product trials with Technology engineers.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering.
- 3+ years of chemical manufacturing plant experience.
- Skills in Process Monitoring & Optimization, Problem Solving & Troubleshooting, and Incident Investigation & Analysis.
- Proficiency in Data Visualization and Fundamentals of Safety & Risk.
- Key behavioral skills: Adaptability, Analytical thinking, Effective communication, and Initiative.
- Preferred experience with Polyolefins, specifically Gas Phase and/or High Pressure Polyethylene, and Extrusion & Finishing.
