Responsibilities
- Lead the EE hardware design, collaborating with various teams including ME, SW, and Operations.
- Manage and develop EE design alongside embedded software engineers and technicians through prototyping and performance characterization.
- Apply knowledge of substrate, flex, and PCB for material selection and design optimization.
- Ensure supplier and component quality, cost, and availability by working closely with Operations in the US and China.
- Collaborate with Clinical and Imaging teams to define requirements and validate designs for FDA clearance.
- Utilize eCAD and maintain documentation using Office products.
- Travel to Asia may be required.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in board-level hardware design and debugging.
- Familiarity with analog and digital electronics and low-level software.
- Experience with high volume products and quality requirements.
- Proven collaboration skills across departments.
- Knowledge of DFM/DFA guidelines.
