Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of electrical wiring harnesses for aerospace systems.
- Oversee/perform the fabrication and assembly of electrical wiring harnesses.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines for seamless integration of electrical harnesses.
- Lead testing activities and troubleshoot wiring systems.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Ensure designs meet aerospace and electrical industry standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in electrical engineering focused on wiring harness design.
- Expertise in wiring harness design software.
- Proficiency in cabling, connectors, and electrical systems integration.
- In-depth knowledge of aerospace standards and reliability testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems.
- Certified Professional Engineer (PE) or similar certifications preferred.
