Responsibilities
- Collaborate with maintenance and process engineering teams to improve product quality.
- Participate in safety programs.
- Mitigate equipment obsolescence and business continuity risks.
- Scope and design new equipment to support manufacturing capacity.
- Upgrade existing equipment to increase availability and revenue.
- Review opportunities for improvement with current equipment impacting product yield.
- Support equipment FMEAs and spare part identification.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled student in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Ability to communicate and work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.
- Experience utilizing data for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Ability to work with chemicals and in a cleanroom environment.
- Understanding of pneumatic control systems is a plus.
- Experience with Python is a plus.
