Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary process and manufacturing expert on new product introduction cross-functional teams.
- Assess process capabilities and prioritize process improvement opportunities.
- Innovate and implement process improvements on new development projects.
- Execute functional deliverables associated with CAPA, Project Management, and Quality Systems.
- Conduct manufacturing technical reviews and ensure proper documentation for quality systems.
- Write and review validation protocols and reports related to new processes.
- Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input to the engineering print package.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science or BSME, or related Engineering Degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process/manufacturing engineering role.
- Experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Lean Manufacturing, and Process Control Concepts.
- Familiarity with problem-solving and process improvement methodologies (e.g., 6 Sigma, DMAIC).
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab) preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD Software (Solid Works, MasterCAM) and GD&T ASME Y14.5M-1994.
- Master’s degree in engineering and/or experience in metals/plastics machining is a plus.
