Responsibilities
- Participate as an active member of the New Product Development Team.
- Assist in identifying surgeon requirements and product characteristics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete assigned tasks.
- Create product designs using 3-D modeling.
- Maintain documentation for the Design History File (DHF).
- Develop project plans and report on project progress.
- Attend surgeries for learning purposes.
Job Requirements
- Must have completed at least the first two years of an undergraduate engineering degree.
- Maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering with a mechanical emphasis.
- Strong interest in medical devices and orthopedics.
- Ability to work under immediate supervision and follow established guidelines.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Show commitment to quality management and safety procedures.
