Responsibilities
- Participate as an active member of the New Product Development Team.
- Assist in identifying surgeon requirements and product characteristics.
- Create product designs with the help of Product Development Engineers.
- Use 3-D Modeling to document designs and changes.
- Maintain documentation necessary for a Design History File (DHF).
- Develop conceptual designs and present them to customers for evaluation.
- Attend surgeries for learning purposes.
Job Requirements
- Must have completed at least the first two years of an undergraduate engineering degree.
- Maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering with a mechanical track, or equivalent.
- Strong interest in medical devices and orthopedics.
- Ability to work under supervision and follow established guidelines.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
