Responsibilities
- Redesign current generation product for scalable low-volume production.
- Develop and release robust mechanical designs in CAD with documentation.
- Improve production fixturing and test processes.
- Design components for high-volume production methods.
- Collaborate on verification and validation test plans.
- Travel to contract manufacturer sites for support.
- Influence product quality, reliability, and manufacturability.
Job Requirements
- 4–6 years of relevant experience as a mechanical engineer.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD design and engineering drawings.
- Experience in high-volume production design, especially with plastics and metals.
- Familiarity with mechatronic systems and tolerance analysis.
- Hands-on experience with assembly and testing of designs.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and with physical prototyping tools.
- Experience with medical device Quality Management Systems is a plus.
