Responsibilities
- Interact with customers, sales, engineering teams, and partners to design custom solutions.
- Generate requirements documents, statements of work, and Bills of Materials.
- Specify and define system configurations and electrical/electronic designs.
- Prototype, test, and deploy turnkey automated solutions in the Automotive industry.
- Define and implement project plans, manage milestones, and conduct reviews.
- Direct support personnel and manage project technical deliverables.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 25%).
Job Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering Technology.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant industry experience in a Hardware Systems Design Role or Test Engineering Design Role.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering, electronics, and computer architectures.
- Knowledge of high-level programming languages (LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++/C#).
- Proficiency with CAD and PCB design tools.
- Experience with Bill of Materials creation and review for Manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with NI Hardware Platforms and Instruments.
