Responsibilities
- Develop and interpret mechanical installation drawings including dimensional fits, tolerances, and assembly procedures.
- Create 3D models and assemblies using software like Inventor and Pro-Engineer, and 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Capture and process 3D point cloud data using CMM equipment for design engineering functions.
- Select and size hydraulic components such as valves and pumps.
- Apply engineering principles to resolve technical problems and develop creative solutions.
- Follow mechanical and electrical installation, calibration, and testing instructions.
- Deliver technical presentations to engineers and managers to explain products and problem resolutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Ability to work in office and industrial environments, including power plants.
- Experience in customer relations and providing technical direction at industrial sites.
- Strong mechanical proficiency and problem-solving skills.
- Equipment testing and inspection experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 60%.
