Responsibilities
- Develop and interpret mechanical installation drawings including dimensional fits, tolerances, and assembly procedures.
- Create 3D models and assemblies using software like Inventor and Pro-Engineer; generate 2D drawings with AutoCAD.
- Capture and process 3D point cloud data using CMM equipment for design functions.
- Select and size hydraulic components such as valves and pumps.
- Apply engineering principles to resolve technical problems and develop creative solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations to engineers and managers regarding products and problem resolutions.
- Engage with managers and engineers to complete project assignments effectively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work in both office and industrial environments, including power plants.
- Experience in customer relations and providing technical direction at industrial sites.
- Strong mechanical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and creative design capabilities.
- Equipment testing and inspection experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 60%.
