Responsibilities
- Gather detailed information from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for power system assessments.
- Translate information into requirements suitable for software development.
- Review software releases for accuracy and functionality.
- Assist with consulting onboarding and provide technical support.
- Write scripts for automating integrations with power systems solvers.
- Conduct technical demonstrations to support sales and user training.
- Validate the accuracy of transmission study outputs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or energy markets.
- 6 years of experience in power systems engineering and energy markets analysis.
- Deep knowledge of the US transmission network and generation development.
- Experience with software engineering tools including git, python, and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with power system assessments and software development.
- Preferred experience with cloud technologies and multiple power system solver technologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on work-life balance.
