Responsibilities
- Architect and design complex electromechanical systems including various components.
- Drive designs throughout the development lifecycle, including CAD, prototyping, testing, and production ramp-up.
- Collaborate with electrical, software, reliability, and manufacturing engineering teams to solve cross-functional problems.
- Perform analysis and testing to ensure designs meet product goals.
- Shape product direction by working with industrial design, marketing, and product teams.
- Provide manufacturing support for high-volume consumer products, particularly in Asia.
- Utilize 3D modeling software for product design and analysis.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of consumer product design experience.
- Expertise in injection molding, sheet metal forming, and electromechanical systems.
- Proficient in 3D modeling software (e.g., Solidworks, NX, Creo).
- Experience with design for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/DFA).
- Strong understanding of quality measuring techniques, including root cause analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Willingness to travel to China as needed.
