Responsibilities
- Develop asset spare strategies for Transmission and Distribution equipment.
- Monitor and support repair and maintenance of substation assets.
- Lead investigations and communications during urgent trouble events.
- Interface with customers to plan and maintain substation equipment.
- Update the Work Management System with asset changes and manage work orders.
- Mentor less experienced engineers in various engineering processes.
- Support restoration activities during power outages due to storms.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience or 7 years with a Professional Engineer License.
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in electric utility substations is preferred.
- Leadership experience and familiarity with ANSI/IEEE Standards.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work in various conditions.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
