Responsibilities
- Support daily activities of the Operations Center for transmission and distribution systems.
- Maintain accurate distribution circuit metrics and track inoperable equipment.
- Conduct day-ahead and short-term studies for system reliability.
- Collaborate with System Planning, Protection, and Compliance teams.
- Maintain the DLC EMS software program and models.
- Develop operating guides and procedures for system reliability.
- Participate in emergency preparedness drills and provide technical support for new equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
- Strong organizational, computer, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to various locations.
- Utility experience and PE License preferred.
- Experience with SCADA systems and State Estimator Modeling preferred.
- Ability to work variable on-site and during non-typical hours as needed.
- Position may be filled at level II or III based on experience and education.
