Responsibilities
- Perform design and field work for overhead and underground distribution facilities.
- Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and permit requests for projects.
- Inspect overhead and underground facilities to determine project design.
- Coordinate projects to ensure timely completion of the design phase.
- Review applications for joint use attachment to company assets.
- Perform field inspections of third-party attachments to company facilities.
- Assist GIS Technicians with digital data collection and maintenance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or an Associate's degree with relevant experience.
- Up to 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a step 7 Technician to advance.
- Knowledge of distribution and subtransmission systems and construction practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD/GIS systems.
- Knowledge of National Electric Code and National Electric Safety Code.
- Must have and maintain a State Driver’s License.
