Responsibilities
- Perform design and field work on overhead and underground distribution facilities.
- Prepare drawings and specifications for assigned projects using designated software.
- Conduct field inspections and coordinate project timelines.
- Review applications for third-party attachments to company assets.
- Provide customer service and meet with various representatives as required.
- Ensure compliance with codes and standards during inspections.
- Assist GIS Technicians with digital data collection as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or an Associate's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- Up to 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a step 7 Technician for advancement.
- Knowledge of distribution and subtransmission systems and construction practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD/GIS systems.
- Valid State Driver’s License.
- Ability to work with customers and maintain organizational skills.
