Responsibilities
- Perform design and field work on overhead and underground distribution facilities.
- Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and permit requests for assigned projects.
- Use software to create or modify distribution and subtransmission facility designs.
- Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Coordinate projects and serve as the primary contact for customers and stakeholders.
- Review applications for joint use attachment to company assets.
- Maintain records and organize work assignments while ensuring attention to detail.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred; or an Associate's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- Up to 1 year of related work experience preferred or 7 years of Journey Lineworker experience.
- Must pass a standardized test and demonstrate knowledge of safety regulations and codes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD/GIS systems.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work with various stakeholders.
- Valid State Driver’s License required.
