Responsibilities
- Support research and development of precision inertial guidance instruments.
- Participate in all aspects of the product development process including design and prototyping.
- Work on instrumentation electronics and novel sensors including MEMS.
- Engage in layout, routing, integration, and testing of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
- Utilize digital systems involving FPGAs, Microcontrollers, and ASICs for signal processing.
- Communicate work effectively through oral presentations and written memos.
- Collaborate with senior technical staff on various programs.
Job Requirements
- Must be a US citizen enrolled in an accredited engineering curriculum.
- Experience with scripting and modeling tools such as MATLAB and Simulink.
- Familiarity with simulation tools like SPICE and ANSYS HFSS/SIwave.
- Knowledge of digital/FPGA design tools like Xilinx Vivado.
- Understanding of signal integrity and layout design principles.
- Hands-on experience in digital and/or analog electronics design, testing, and debugging.
- No prior experience required, but candidates should have experience with at least two of the listed qualifications.
