Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to identify and prevent failures during development.
- Develop test methods and equipment to detect failures before deployment.
- Conduct root cause analysis of failures and recommend design changes.
- Utilize physics of failure knowledge to accelerate testing processes.
- Facilitate Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) for complex components.
- Create risk assessments using reliability analysis methods.
- Write Python scripts for automating reliability tests.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with DFMEAs for complex systems.
- Proficiency in developing reliability analyses and assessments.
- Skills in test development and execution.
- Familiarity with CAD and shop tools for designing test rigs.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
