Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team to identify and prevent failures in the development process.
- Develop test methods and equipment to uncover potential failures.
- Conduct root cause analysis of lab and field failures.
- Suggest design changes based on analysis findings.
- Accelerate tests using physics of failure principles.
- Facilitate DFMEAs for complex components/systems.
- Write Python scripts to automate reliability tests.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with DFMEAs and risk assessments.
- Proficiency in test development and execution.
- Experience with CAD and shop tools for designing fixtures/test rigs.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with reliability analyses methods such as Weibull and fault tree analysis.
