Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to identify and prevent failures during development.
- Develop test methods and equipment to uncover failures before field deployment.
- Perform root cause analysis on lab and field failures and suggest design changes.
- Utilize knowledge of physics of failure to accelerate testing methods.
- Facilitate DFMEAs for complex components and systems.
- Conduct risk assessments using reliability analysis techniques.
- Write Python scripts to automate reliability tests.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with DFMEAs and risk assessments.
- Proficiency in test development and execution.
- Experience with CAD and shop tools for designing fixtures/test rigs.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with reliability analysis methods (Weibull, fault tree, etc.).
