Responsibilities
- Create and manage CAD designs of components and BOM structures.
- Analyze FE Models of Node™-based vehicle structures and validate with hand calculations.
- Present design summaries and reports at meetings.
- Develop and execute technical solutions for automotive structures.
- Collaborate with the DAPS Product Engineering team and other disciplines.
- Implement cost reduction methods and support prototype production activities.
- Maintain technical documentation, including best practices and lessons learned.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in structure design and CAD modeling.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., Nastran, Optistruct).
- Solid understanding of advanced materials and aerospace load applications.
- Experience with DFMEA, DVP, control plans, and APQP.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage workload effectively.
- Experience with fast iteration prototyping and managing system configurations.
