Responsibilities
- Create and manage CAD designs and BOM structures for components.
- Build and analyze FE Models for Node™-based vehicle structures, validating with hand calculations and optimization.
- Present design summaries and reports to relevant engineers and external parties.
- Develop and execute new technical solutions for automotive structures in collaboration with customers.
- Work cross-functionally to implement cost reduction methods and support prototype and production activities.
- Maintain technical documentation, including best practices and lessons learned.
- Support vehicle builds and product development testing and troubleshooting.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in structural design and CAD modeling.
- Proficiency in PLM systems, with Teamcenter experience preferred.
- Experience in structural analysis using software like Nastran, Optistruct, and/or LS-Dyna.
- Understanding of advanced materials and aerospace load applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage workloads effectively.
- Experience with DFMEA, DVP, and related documentation for product approval.
