Responsibilities
- Contribute to manufacturing engineering support across multiple LPBF subsystems.
- Develop and improve work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with design and R&D teams to enhance manufacturability.
- Conduct design for manufacturing (DFM) analyses to reduce cost and improve cycle time.
- Support design changes through PLM and change implementation.
- Refine manufacturing processes, including assembly and test operations.
- Lead root cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities for manufacturing issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 2+ years (AM Manufacturing Engineer) or 5+ years (Sr. AM Manufacturing Engineer) experience in relevant engineering fields.
- Proficient in 3D CAD modeling and drawing creation.
- Experience with PLM systems, ERP, and MES tools.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Hands-on skills in basic fabrication or assembly.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
