Responsibilities

  • Ownership of industrial electrical systems engineering from conceptual architecture to final schematics and build.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, controls, software, manufacturing, and process engineers to develop novel manufacturing equipment.
  • Work on metal 3D printing systems, powder handling systems, and robotic assembly lines.
  • Contribute to electrical engineering standards and best practices across DAPS platform manufacturing modules.
  • Design and develop industrial electrical control panels and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Participate in a collaborative work environment with automation and AM development teams.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 2 years of relevant experience (or 5 years of relevant experience).
  • Experience with EPlan, AutoCAD, or other CAD systems.
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code, NFPA 79 & UL508A.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with electrical certification for industrial systems in the US & Europe.
  • Experience designing harness assemblies in 3D CAD software.
  • Basic experience with industrial PLC, HMI & Motion Control systems.
