Responsibilities
- Ownership of industrial electrical systems engineering from conceptual design to final schematics.
- Collaborate with mechanical, controls, software, and manufacturing engineers to develop novel manufacturing equipment.
- Design and develop electrical control panels and systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical engineering standards and best practices.
- Actively participate in the development of metal 3D printing systems and automated manufacturing systems.
- Work closely with automation and AM development teams in an office environment.
- Maintain knowledge of the National Electrical Code and relevant safety standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience (2 years or 5 years of relevant industry experience).
- Proficiency in EPlan, AutoCAD, or other CAD systems.
- Experience developing industrial electrical control panels.
- Understanding of electrical certification standards in the US and Europe.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Basic experience with industrial PLC, HMI, and Motion Control systems.
- Experience designing harness assemblies in 3D CAD software.
