Responsibilities
- Engineer and design mechanical components, fixtures, tooling assemblies, and systems using 3D solid-modeling, CAD, and FEA.
- Follow and document Stage Gate Design Controls/Design History file, apply machining tolerances, and perform tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Create test protocols, perform testing, write test reports, and create inspection documents.
- Evaluate design integrity through complex design calculations to ensure feasibility and safety.
- Lead project DFMEA efforts and work on DFM/DFA for cost reductions.
- Communicate technical expertise to suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Investigate and provide root cause analysis for engineering KPIs and implement corrective actions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Biomedical Engineering preferred.
- 2+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of magnetic materials and applications is a plus.
- Proficiency in CAD (Solidworks or Creo) design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mathematical capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage projects effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
