Responsibilities
- Participate in the design of complex systems integrating mechanical hardware, controls, and software.
- Provide support in material specification and prepare engineering sketches and layout drawings.
- Recommend ideas for productivity improvement and cost reduction.
- Create and check layouts, detailed drawings, and Bills of Materials for compliance with engineering standards.
- Participate in design reviews with cross-functional team members.
- Follow purchase request and order entry processes for equipment procurement.
- Work with team members and customers to troubleshoot equipment on-site.
Job Requirements
- BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of industry-related experience in mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in engineering.
- Ability to comprehend project schedules and basic financial aspects of project execution.
- Effective collaboration skills with diverse colleagues.
- Proficient in CAD design software, such as AutoCAD.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
