Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design for data center builds, including one-line diagrams and short-circuit studies.
- Provide stamped drawing sets for permitting and compliance.
- Serve as subject matter expert for HVDC distribution and UPS systems.
- Mentor junior electrical engineers and review their work.
- Interface with authorities, utility providers, and customers to resolve technical issues.
- Support proposals and client workshops with expert-level technical input.
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; MS preferred.
- 5 years of experience in mission-critical facility design.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Experience with high-voltage substations and electrical distribution systems.
- Familiarity with data center equipment and environments.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of start-up and commissioning processes.
