Responsibilities
- Design and analyze electro-mechanical components and systems.
- Conduct studies and testing on new and modified designs.
- Develop design information for use in drawings and specifications.
- Provide engineering design, maintenance support, and training for new products and equipment.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute various engineering activities including documentation and reporting.
- Design new equipment and machinery, assisting in building and testing to ensure production capabilities.
- Determine maintenance schedules and safety standards for equipment operation and maintenance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 2-10 years of experience in manufacturing and design of engineered products.
- Experience with rotating equipment and machine designs (motors, pumps, generators).
- Proficiency in GD&T, CAD systems, CAE systems, and FEA methods.
- Strong modeling and drawing creation skills, with the ability to present design reviews.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform analysis in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a sole US citizen and able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
