Responsibilities
- Design and analyze electro-mechanical components and systems.
- Develop drawings and specifications for new and modified designs.
- Conduct studies and testing on new and modified designs.
- Provide engineering design, maintenance support, and training for new products and equipment.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute various engineering activities including documentation and reporting.
- Design new equipment and machinery, assisting in building and testing.
- Determine maintenance schedules and safety standards for equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
- 2-10 years of experience in manufacturing and design of engineered products.
- Experience with rotating equipment and machine designs.
- Proficiency in GD&T, CAD systems, CAE systems, and FEA methods.
- Ability to create models and drawings and perform design reviews.
- Strong attention to detail and capability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a US citizen and able to obtain DOD security clearance.
