Responsibilities
- Designs and analyzes electro-mechanical components and systems.
- Develops drawings and specifications for new and modified designs.
- Supports manufacturing and testing of electro-mechanical equipment.
- Conducts studies and testing on new and modified designs.
- Provides engineering design, maintenance support, and training for new products and equipment.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes a variety of engineering activities.
- Determines maintenance schedules, procedures, and safety standards for equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 2-10 years work experience in manufacture and design of engineered products.
- Experience with rotating equipment and machine designs (motors, pumps, generators).
- Proficiency in GD&T, CAD systems, CAE systems, FEA methods.
- Ability to create models and drawings and present design reviews.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform analysis in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
