Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical designs of hydraulically operated equipment and various nuclear plant components using CAD (SolidWorks).
- Create component-level manufacturing and assembly drawings while preparing engineering documentation including design specifications and test plans.
- Coordinate cross-functionally between mechanical, electrical, and analysis teams to drive the design process.
- Create and execute test strategies based on system requirements, supporting hands-on testing and troubleshooting.
- Assist technicians during fabrication or test setup and help resolve issues.
- Review customer specifications and participate in customer meetings and technical discussions.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of Mechanical Design or Test Engineering experience.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with metal in engineering applications and common manufacturing processes.
- High proficiency in CAD modeling (SolidWorks preferred) and engineering drawings.
- Experience or exposure to test development and lab work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
