Responsibilities
- Designs and analyzes electro-mechanical components and systems.
- Develops drawings and specifications for new and modified designs.
- Conducts studies and testing on new and modified designs.
- Provides engineering design and maintenance support for new products.
- Designs and conducts experiments, collects data, and interprets results.
- Determines maintenance schedules, procedures, and safety standards for equipment.
- Provides technical support to failure investigations and bid responses.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 2-10 years of experience in manufacturing and design of engineered products.
- Experience with rotating equipment and machine designs (motors, pumps, etc.).
- Proficient in GD&T, CAD systems, CAE systems, and FEA methods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform analysis in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a US citizen and able to obtain DOD security clearance.
- Team player with knowledge of MS Office Suite and ability to coordinate multiple project responsibilities.
