Responsibilities

  • Develop mechanical designs of hydraulically operated equipment and various nuclear plant components using CAD (SolidWorks).
  • Create component-level manufacturing and assembly drawings while preparing engineering documentation including design specifications and test plans.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally between mechanical, electrical, and analysis teams to drive the design process.
  • Create and execute test strategies based on system requirements, supporting hands-on testing and troubleshooting.
  • Assist technicians during fabrication or test setup and help resolve issues.
  • Review customer specifications and participate in customer meetings and technical discussions.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Mechanical Design or Test Engineering experience.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with metal in engineering applications and common manufacturing processes.
  • High proficiency in CAD modeling (SolidWorks preferred) and engineering drawings.
  • Experience or exposure to test development and lab work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
