Responsibilities
- Design and analyze electro-mechanical components and systems.
- Conduct studies and testing on new and modified designs.
- Develop design information for drawings and specifications.
- Provide engineering design, maintenance support, and training for new products and equipment.
- Conduct experiments, collect data, and interpret results; write analysis and test reports.
- Plan and coordinate engineering activities including documentation and presentations.
- Determine maintenance schedules, procedures, and safety standards for equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree a plus.
- Minimum 2-10 years of experience in manufacturing and design of engineered products.
- Experience with rotating equipment and machine designs (motors, pumps, generators).
- Knowledge of GD&T, CAD systems, CAE systems, and FEA methods.
- Ability to create models and drawings and perform design reviews.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform analysis in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a US citizen and able to obtain DOD security clearance.
