Responsibilities
- Develop models, designs, and simulations for electrical motors, generators, and controls.
- Create technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
- Direct the development and analysis of electric motors and exciters.
- Simulate systems using hardware in the loop (HIL) and rapid control prototyping (RCP).
- Lead engineering teams through complex technical issues.
- Plan and execute various engineering activities with minimal guidance.
- Collaborate effectively within a team and utilize MS Office Suite.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering; advanced degrees are highly desired.
- Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience.
- Proficiency in 2D/3D Electromagnetic Finite Element Analysis (EMFEA) and MATLAB Simulink.
- US citizenship required due to DoD requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances.
- Initiative and ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
