Intern - Summer 2026 - Acoustical Engineer

This role is for a Summer 2026 Internship in the Acoustical Engineering Team at Crestron Electronics, where interns will engage in hands-on learning and professional growth while working on audio products and simulations.

• Work in the acoustic team to develop UC and other audio products.
• Perform acoustic simulations using FEA and other tools.
• Build/Simplify 3-D CAD models for FEA simulation software.
• Verify acoustic design through testing and produce reports.
• Optimize acoustic performance through iterative design simulations.
• Assist in R&D of innovative audio solutions.
• Collaborate with design engineers to create prototypes for validation.

• Must be enrolled in a college or university in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Junior or Senior level in an undergraduate program preferred.
• Strong interest in CAD modeling, Finite Element Analysis, and Acoustics.
• 3D CAD modeling experience in Creo or SolidWorks.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, self-motivated, and creative.
• Must have permanent, unrestricted work authorization in the U.S.
