Responsibilities
- Support the development of Micro Wave products.
- Work on mechanical design/engineering tasks.
- Assist in new product introduction processes.
- Contribute to process development and process control.
- Conduct design of experiments related to RF interconnect designs.
- Provide modeling and analysis support for new designs.
- Participate in meaningful project work and final project presentation.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Optical, Manufacturing, or Engineering Science.
- Relevant coursework in Mechanical, Optical, Manufacturing, or Engineering Science.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Working knowledge of engineering tools such as Creo, Solidworks, MATLAB, or Visual Basic programming in Excel.
- Available for 10 weeks during Summer 2026.
- Interest in potential full-time employment with Corning, Inc after graduation.
