Responsibilities
- Review production schedules and specifications to develop process improvements.
- Support the development and maintenance of manufacturing methods and tooling.
- Perform research and design of manufacturing processes including production flow and assembly methods.
- Apply continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing principles to enhance processes.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and product improvement.
- Develop manufacturing documentation such as FMEA and work instructions.
- Provide guidance to production teams and participate in design and process reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in defense.
- Ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Inventor, Creo, SolidWorks).
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and process improvement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
