Responsibilities
- Develop and certify circuit card and sub-level modules.
- Ensure design team technical execution meets stakeholder requirements.
- Communicate with internal and external customers and coordinate with domain architects.
- Execute solutions with a product line focus to enhance reuse of product line artifacts.
- Oversee hardware architect responsibilities as product line expands.
- Manage project engineering and control account management functions.
- Conduct integration testing of hardware designs using standard lab equipment.
Job Requirements
- Degree in STEM with 10 years of experience or an advanced degree with 7 years of experience.
- Leadership experience in hardware design lifecycle.
- Familiarity with hardware civil certification (DO-254, DO-297).
- Experience with complex embedded devices and schematic capture of circuit designs.
- Knowledge of Design to Cost (DTC+), Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and Design for Test (DFT).
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Willingness to travel 5-10% as needed.
