Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross-functional team efforts to improve test yields and production throughput.
  • Identify test failure trends and perform root cause analysis.
  • Analyze existing test equipment performance and establish solutions to improve uptime.
  • Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and equipment needs.
  • Select and order capital test equipment using cost/payback analysis.
  • Develop technical support for the product test process and mentor other engineers.
  • Maintain test documentation and manage change procedures for test documents.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in STEM with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
  • Proficiency in basic statistics and Six Sigma control methods.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify alternate solutions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using analytical skills to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
