Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-functional team efforts to improve test yields and production throughput.
- Identify test failure trends and perform root cause analysis.
- Analyze existing test equipment performance and establish solutions to improve uptime.
- Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and equipment needs.
- Select and order capital test equipment using cost/payback analysis.
- Develop technical support for the product test process and mentor other engineers.
- Maintain test documentation and manage change procedures for test documents.
Job Requirements
- Degree in STEM with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
- Proficiency in basic statistics and Six Sigma control methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify alternate solutions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using analytical skills to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
