Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to improve test yields and production throughput.
  • Identify and analyze test failure trends, implementing corrective actions.
  • Study performance and reliability of test equipment, establishing solutions to reduce downtime.
  • Analyze test approaches for cost reduction and efficiency opportunities.
  • Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and equipment needs.
  • Select and order capital test equipment based on cost/payback analysis.
  • Support technical mentorship and training for test technicians and engineers.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in STEM and minimum 5 years relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3 years experience, or 9 years relevant experience without a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
  • Basic statistics knowledge and understanding of parametric process control.
  • Proficiency in Six Sigma control methods and Lean electronics.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in facilitating difficult conversations and communicating effectively at all organizational levels.
