Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross-functional team efforts to improve test yields, production throughput, test capacity, and overall product quality.
  • Identify component test failure trends and perform root cause analysis; implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze test approaches for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Select and order capital test equipment using cost/payback analysis.
  • Provide technical support for the entire product test process and support floor test technicians.
  • Develop working knowledge of assigned test systems and hardware.
  • Maintain test documentation and oversee change management procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
  • Understanding of basic statistics and Lean electronics.
  • Problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Experience with analytical skills to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to facilitate conversations and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple priorities.
