Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance test yields and product quality.
- Identify and analyze component test failure trends and implement corrective actions.
- Study performance and reliability of test equipment to minimize downtime.
- Analyze test processes for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Provide technical support for product test processes and assist floor technicians.
- Develop knowledge of assigned test systems and provide mentorship to other engineers.
- Maintain test documentation and oversee change management procedures.
Job Requirements
- Degree in STEM and minimum 5 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant experience without a degree.
- 5+ years of experience as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
- Knowledge of basic statistics and proficiency in Six Sigma control methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in Lean electronics and analytical skills to resolve issues.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and facilitate effective communication.
