Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-functional teams to improve test yields and production throughput.
- Identify and analyze test failure trends, implementing corrective actions.
- Study performance and reliability of test equipment, establishing solutions to reduce downtime.
- Analyze test approaches for cost reduction and efficiency opportunities.
- Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and equipment needs.
- Select and order capital test equipment based on cost/payback analysis.
- Support technical mentorship and training for test technicians and engineers.
Job Requirements
- Degree in STEM and minimum 5 years relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3 years experience, or 9 years relevant experience without a degree.
- 5+ years of experience as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
- Basic statistics knowledge and understanding of parametric process control.
- Proficiency in Six Sigma control methods and Lean electronics.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in facilitating difficult conversations and communicating effectively at all organizational levels.
