Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance test yields and production throughput.
  • Identify component test failure trends and perform root cause analysis.
  • Analyze existing test equipment performance and implement solutions to reduce downtime.
  • Conduct capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and equipment needs.
  • Provide technical support for the product test process and assist test technicians.
  • Develop knowledge of assigned test systems and oversee change management procedures.
  • Mentor other engineers and train test technicians on products and systems.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in STEM with 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
  • Proficiency in statistics and Six Sigma control methods.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in facilitating conversations across organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of Lean electronics and test engineering principles.
