Responsibilities
- Apply research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems.
- Produce models for components, parts, subassemblies, and assemblies in collaboration with engineers and designers.
- Execute tests for systems, subsystems, and components with technical oversight.
- Analyze test results in relation to design specifications and objectives.
- Communicate effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Document development, analysis, and test data.
- Follow appropriate design, safety, and qualification standards.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering (3rd year or greater preferred).
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- Experience with Solidworks or similar 3D CAD software preferred.
- Familiarity with ANSYS or other mechanical analysis software preferred.
