Responsibilities

  • Participate in efforts to improve test yields and production throughput.
  • Identify component test failure trends and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze existing test equipment performance and establish solutions to reduce downtime.
  • Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and test equipment.
  • Select and order capital test equipment based on cost/payback analysis.
  • Provide technical support for the entire product test process and assist floor test technicians.
  • Maintain test documentation and oversee change management procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in STEM and minimum 2 years of relevant experience or 6 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree.
  • 2+ years of experience as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
  • Understanding of basic statistics and parametric process control.
  • Proficiency in Six Sigma control methods and Lean electronics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in facilitating conversations and communicating across organizational levels.
