Responsibilities
- Participate in efforts to improve test yields and production throughput.
- Identify component test failure trends and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze existing test equipment performance and establish solutions to reduce downtime.
- Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and test equipment.
- Select and order capital test equipment based on cost/payback analysis.
- Provide technical support for the entire product test process and assist floor test technicians.
- Maintain test documentation and oversee change management procedures.
Job Requirements
- Degree in STEM and minimum 2 years of relevant experience or 6 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree.
- 2+ years of experience as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
- Understanding of basic statistics and parametric process control.
- Proficiency in Six Sigma control methods and Lean electronics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in facilitating conversations and communicating across organizational levels.
