Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance test yields and production throughput.
- Conduct root cause analysis on component test failures and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze existing test equipment for performance and reliability, proposing solutions to decrease downtime.
- Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and equipment needs.
- Improve existing test fixtures and equipment for enhanced test performance.
- Support floor test technicians and assist in resolving manufacturing flow inhibitors.
- Maintain test documentation and oversee change management procedures for accuracy.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree, or 6 years of relevant experience without a degree.
- At least 2 years of experience as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
- Understanding of basic statistics and Six Sigma control methods.
- Proficiency in Lean electronics and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with analytical skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
