Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross-functional team efforts to improve test yields, production throughput, and overall product quality.
  • Identify component test failure trends, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze existing test equipment performance and establish programs for reducing downtime.
  • Provide capacity planning and analysis for staffing and test equipment needs.
  • Select and order capital test equipment based on cost/payback analysis.
  • Support production readiness reviews and provide technical support for the test process.
  • Train test technicians and maintain test documentation and change management procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in STEM with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • 2+ years of experience as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
  • Proficiency in basic statistics and Six Sigma control methods.
  • Knowledge of Lean electronics and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in identifying and resolving technical issues.
