Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-functional team efforts to improve test yields, production throughput, and overall product quality.
- Identify component test failure trends, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze existing test equipment performance and establish programs for reducing downtime.
- Provide capacity planning and analysis for staffing and test equipment needs.
- Select and order capital test equipment based on cost/payback analysis.
- Support production readiness reviews and provide technical support for the test process.
- Train test technicians and maintain test documentation and change management procedures.
Job Requirements
- Degree in STEM with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience without a degree.
- 2+ years of experience as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
- Proficiency in basic statistics and Six Sigma control methods.
- Knowledge of Lean electronics and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in identifying and resolving technical issues.
