The Manufacturing Electrical Engineer II role involves developing, verifying, and sustaining test processes and equipment for manufacturing aerospace products at Collins Aerospace.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance test yields and production throughput.
  • Identify test failure trends and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Analyze test processes for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and equipment needs.
  • Develop technical support for product test processes and assist test technicians.
  • Maintain test documentation and oversee change management procedures.
  • Mentor other engineers and collaborate with design engineering on production issues.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in STEM with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or 6 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • 2+ years of experience as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
  • Proficiency in basic statistics and Six Sigma control methods.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in analyzing and resolving technical issues.
  • Familiarity with Lean electronics principles.
