Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-functional team efforts to enhance test yields and production throughput.
- Identify component test failure trends and perform root cause analysis.
- Analyze performance and reliability of test equipment to reduce downtime.
- Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and equipment needs.
- Improve existing test fixtures and equipment for better performance.
- Support manufacturing flow inhibitors and provide technical assistance to technicians.
- Maintain test documentation and oversee change management procedures.
Job Requirements
- Degree in STEM and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree.
- 2+ years of experience as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
- Proficiency in basic statistics and Six Sigma control methods.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in Lean electronics and analytical skills to resolve issues.
- Ability to provide technical mentorship to other engineers.
