Responsibilities
- Drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple assembly process steps.
- Perform time studies to maintain standard timings for productivity calculations.
- Identify opportunities to remove waste from processes and reduce standard times.
- Support Production Build Operators with tooling and process needs.
- Utilize drafting/modeling software to design and implement new fixtures.
- Develop and maintain Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEAs).
- Conduct process flow and line balancing analysis to drive improvements.
Job Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or 6 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree.
- LEAN manufacturing experience preferred.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify alternate solutions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Experience using analytical skills to identify and resolve issues.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
