Responsibilities

  • Drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple assembly process steps.
  • Perform time studies to maintain standard timings for productivity calculations.
  • Identify opportunities to remove waste from processes and reduce standard times.
  • Support Production Build Operators with tooling and process needs.
  • Utilize drafting/modeling software to design and implement new fixtures.
  • Develop and maintain Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEAs).
  • Conduct process flow and line balancing analysis to drive improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or 6 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree.
  • LEAN manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify alternate solutions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience using analytical skills to identify and resolve issues.
  • Knowledge of safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
