Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for daily operations of process units within the refinery.
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Develop and manage engineering work orders for projects, including repairs and replacements.
- Create purchase specifications for mechanical equipment to meet standards.
- Participate in planning and execution of unit turnarounds.
- Answer technical inquiries and provide recommendations for equipment and system troubleshooting.
- Conduct studies to enhance plant safety, reliability, and economics.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry or related fields.
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with mechanical problem-solving in process plants.
- Ability to manage minor capital projects and engineering work orders.
- Knowledge of safety and reliability improvement practices.
- Familiarity with technical specifications and procurement processes.
